The noontime 'air raid' siren/noon whistle just went off about 5 minutes ago. Can't hear it from home but it's loud and clear downtown at the office. I'm listening to XM, of course, and listening to My Friend Irma. They don't have many episodes of this show but I haven't heard this episode in quite a while. The actress that plays Irma sounds very much like a girl I used to know, and even has her logic! You have to know the show, but as written and played, she must have been one of the early really ditsy blond characters.
Not much going on, it's been spring like and much of the snow has evaporated as the temps climbed. EVERYTHING is getting green very fast! Although just about 60 right now, a couple of days ago was practically a heat wave with temps getting into low 70's! I'm guessing no more sticking snow until next fall now! When your body gets used to those much cooler temps a sudden rise like this can seem so hot and like 90 instead of 70. Here at the office the maintenance guy said he can't turn down or off the building heat so in the afternoons I'm already running my window A/C unit because it climbs to about 80 because heat rises and we're on the second floor.
Laura has been calling as grand baby Tyler has been pretty sick for much of a week. For a while it was thought he may have Pneumonia, now it is the Flu and Strep Throat instead. He's only 3! He's feeling better today according to Laura and by his next appointment on Monday, if it is the Flu, he should be feeling a lot better. We're hoping he'll be better really soon.
Sandy and Erik both ran a 5 K run last weekend in the L.A. area. We've very proud of them both, they both finished and were only about 7 minutes apart time wise. She's still working and teaching and taking lots of photos. They're giving up with the management of the apartment they've been living at for the last few years. Constant rate increases, lack of maintenance support, they've had it and are planning to move by the end of May.
Sean and Brandy are doing fine and just cruising along.
Today Stacy is at a meeting with her boss down in Coeur D' Alene. She drove the truck, I drove the Solstice today!
That's the update today! Tad
