A Few More Late Winter Photos

More all frosted trees, I think they're pretty interesting myself. All due to the river that runs through town and the really cold temps those mornings. Above and below are of the frosty trees near the court house that morning. Below looks out across the highway at all the frozen trees and low cloud layer.

A few late Winter pictures

An early morning sunrise shines on the mountains between the cloud layers Above and below, some freezing fog mornings had all the trees looking like the one above. Below a close up of a branch and the frost is built up to almost an inch long! Below, looking South East on the old Main street in town.

A Winter last gasp, and cell phones......

Yes, that's what is happening as I type this, 34 and snowing outside. It's supposed to snow most of the day, it started last night sometime, then be just cloudy and in the 40's again tomorrow. It has just started to become very early spring like. Some of the fields have started to show through the snow layers again and much of the snow left on our and others is mostly pretty much ice now. With our pretty dense tree line we still have from no snow to about three feet in spots., but its slowly melting and much that's been in the sun the few days its poked out from the clouds is down to dirt from snow. Still freezes every night though! Stacy and I haven't been doing to much yet with it still raining or snowing on the weekends. I might have mention in an earlier post that we'd recently gotten new cell phones. We'd been eligible for "upgrades" for over a year, but there just hadn't been too much out that I was interested in. If we still were living ...

Short update this time

Winter rolls on! The days are getting longer, time 'Springs Ahead' in less than a month, yet it still snowed the last two nights. About two inches last night so this morning plowed the driveway and around the house with the quad. Stacy returns tomorrow from her long weekend with Sandy at Laura's in Iowa. Sandy froze all weekend in Iowa and she'll be getting back to the last blast of winter hitting back in California. Stacy doesn't get back to our area until almost midnight so I'd ask her to not try to get home tonight because of her readjusting to our two hour difference from Iowa. So tomorrow night we'll watch the video that Stacy and others took and see the pictures Sandy took that she'd put on a DVD at Laura's. Over 400 pictures! Its one of those not much going on so where do I start kind of weeks so I guess I'll call it quits for now. Type later, Tad!
